Kate Gamble originally began making jewelry with no real intention but to create whimsical treats for friends and family to enjoy without having to worry about an expiration date. She started out with a coffee cup and saucer necklace as her very first piece, followed shortly by a matching ring (seen in the picture on the left) and a matching pair of earrings. The set gained immediate attention from anyone and everyone who spotted her sporting the accessories. Realizing that others might have just as much of a sweet tooth for her tantalizing treats, Kate began making jewelry whenever she found the spare time and started selling at the Mulberry Tea House in Medford, NJ.
